Security

Security for company data has always been an issue and now as internet technology begins to play a greater part in insurance administration, security for business and personal data has become a higher priority. Today, the business and technical challenge is to implement real-time processing, direct access models without compromising business and security controls.

Harlosh recognised the need for security controls in our systems and from the beginning our applications have been developed with security in mind. Our range of insurance solutions have the highest level of security, from the back end processing to the, web enabled, user access front end.

Deploying the right security-rich solution can help an insurance organisation maintain a competitive advantage: a secure infrastructure makes it easier to build stronger, more profitable relationships with customers, brokers and service providers.

Our core insurance administration engine contains a range of built in security facilities, controlling areas such as user roles, group profiles and logon functions. In addition, configurable sanction control enables data restrictions to be applied in line with insurers' requirements.

Harlosh chose the IBM iSeries server as the platform for our insurance solutions as we believe that it is one of the most secure servers available in the market place. The OS/400 operating system provides a wealth of security features to enable organisations to tailor the security functions in order to implement and enforce their own security policy.
